WICHITA, Kansas — Tipoff is still nearly two months away, but Wichita State’s Dec. 12 men’s basketball game against Utah is an official sellout.

Intrust Bank Arena unloaded the last of its ticket allotment on Wednesday afternoon. Shocker fans scooped up the majority of the lower bowl tickets within the first week and needed just 22 total days to claim all 15,004 seats.

WSU also sold out its downtown date in 2014, though not until Dec. 5 – the day before its showdown with Saint Louis.

This is WSU’s sixth trip downtown since the arena’s opening in 2010. A year ago, the Shockers defeated the Billikens in front of a sellout crowd to improve to 5-0 all-time in the building.

Fans who missed out on tickets can still cheer on the Shockers. The game will be carried live on ESPN2.
