Tennessee moms make Chick-fil-A parody video

FRANKLIN, Tennessee – A group of Franklin, Tennessee, mothers created a parody of Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass” about Chick-Fil-A.

In a press release, the group, who call themselves The Texting Yoga Pants, say their song “hits to the heart of modern motherhood.”

“I Wanna Go to Chick-Fil-A” highlights all the things they appreciate about the popular fast food restaurant: free ice cream, a casual atmosphere, and “superior treatment” from the staff.

Our husbands say we go to Chick-Fil-A way to much
But we get to where yoga pants and our hair in a messy bun
And yes that’s my son running barefoot to the bathroom stall
Now’s the perfect time for mom to wrap up my business call

The five-mom crew is comprised of a graphic designer, entrepreneur, real estate contract coordinator, writer and cookie baker.

The lyricist of the group, Lauren Tenney, said she’s been going to the restaurant since her 4-year-old son was only 9 months old.

“I always felt like I could take a deep breath when I walked in because I knew every mom there was there for the same reason: we needed a little break,” Tenney said.

Over 600,000 people have viewed the parody on YouTube as its quickly spread on social media.
