WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police say a second suspect in the burglary of the Southwest Boys Club was arrested after he turned himself in.

The 19-year-old man was arrested on numerous warrants of burglary and theft. The other suspect, a 22-year-old man, turned himself in last week.

Police identified the suspects thanks to citizens calling in tips in response to video surveillance that was released by police after the burglary on July 11.  Police say $3,500 worth of items were stolen.  It included trophies, equipment for umpires, money, candy, shin guards, and face protectors.

Some trophies from the burglary were recovered around ball field, and most of them were destroyed.
