Woman injured when shots fired at car

WICHITA, Kan. – Law enforcement officers in Wichita are looking for the person who fired shots at two people in southeast Wichita early Sunday.

Officers say when they responded to the 3:30 a.m. call they found several shell casings in the area around Roseberry and Hillside streets.  A short time later, they were contacted by a 20-year-old woman who said she and a male friend were driving in the area when an unknown person began shooting at them.

Police say the woman suffered minor injuries from broken glass when bullets were fired at their car.

No suspects have been identified in the incident.
