Two red panda cubs born at Virginia Zoo

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — There are two new residents in the Trail of the Tiger exhibit at the Virginia Zoo.

The red panda twins were born June 25 to mother, Bernadette. Zoo officials say the cubs are in good health.

The female weighs 85 grams and the male 78 grams.

This is the third set of twins born at the zoo in the last three years.
