Subway drops Jared Fogle from website after police raid his home

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Subway has made changes to its website following a police investigation at the home of Subway spokesman Jared Fogle.

The sandwich company had a section of its site called “Jared’s Journey.” Links to that section still existed on the Subway site as of Tuesday at 3:41 p.m., but 20 minutes later the image of Fogle’s face was gone.

On the homepage of Subway’s site, there’s a tweet about the situation involving Fogle. It’s a shorter version of the same statement following the police investigation:

We are shocked about the news and believe it is related to a prior investigation of a former Jared Foundation employee. We are very concerned and will be monitoring the situation closely. We don’t have any more details at this point.”
