Private consultant appointed director of Crime Commission

WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita Crime Commission Wednesday announced the appointment of a new executive director.

A news release from the organization said Pat Jones, a private consultant to Project Access, was appointed executive director of the Crime Commission.  Project Access helps uninsured individuals with medical care.

The release quoted Jones as saying, ““I am looking forward to joining the Crime Commission and its members in working with local, state and federal agencies and other community members in the fight against crime.”

According to the release, Jones’ has more than 15 years experience in working with nonprofit organizations, including work as the executive director of Dress for Success of Wichita.

The Crime Commission is a nonprofit organization that works closely with local, state and federal law enforcement and criminal justice agencies to fight crime.  Crime Commission programs include Crime Stoppers of Wichita/Sedgwick County and the Make Good Choices program.
