Candlelight vigil held for WSU student killed in terrorist bombing

WICHITA, Kansas – Friends and fellow students of Abduljaleel Alarbash took part in a candlelight vigil Friday night.

Alarbash was killed May 29th outside a mosque in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.  He worked as a security guard at the mosque, and tried to stop a suicide bomber from entering the building, ultimately savings up to 1,000 lives.

In a ceremony at the Rhatigan Student Center remembered the WSU engineering student during a vigil that honored his life.

Alabash had returned home to Saudi Arabia to get married.  He was 22 years old.
