WICHITA, Kansas – A Wichita man was given eight life sentences without the possibility of parole for sexually assaulting underage girls.

Terrill Andrews, 41, was a registered sex offender in 2013 when he sexually assaulted three girls, 13, 14 and 16 years old. Two of the girls were runaways from a Wichita halfway house.

A judge sentenced Andrews Tuesday on three counts of rape, three counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and two counts of sexual exploitation of a child.

The judge ordered two of the life sentences to run consecutively.

Before the 2013 crimes were committed, Andrews was convicted of two counts of sexual intercourse with a minor in California.

While in the Navy, he was court-martialed for rape and sodomy.
