BETTENDORF, Iowa (AP) — An overnight stabbing in eastern Iowa has left one man dead, and police have arrested the victim’s teenage brother in the case.
The Quad-City Times reports that the stabbing happened early Saturday on Tanglewood Road in Bettendorf.
When police arrived they found a 34-year-old man bleeding from multiply stab wounds. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim’s 15-year-old brother was taken into custody. He is being charged as a juvenile with first-degree murder.
Police continue to investigate.
