Lil Wayne coming to Wichita

WICHITA, Kansas – Power 93.5 is thrilled to announce the first ever hip-hop concert at Intrust Bank Arena, headlined by rap superstar Lil’ Wayne.

The Power 93.5 Power House Jam is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2015 and will also feature Trey Songz, Kid Ink, Ty Dolla $ign, and Fetty Wap.

Lil Wayne’s numerous hit singles include the massive #1 single “Lollipop”, “Got Money”, “Stuntin Like My Daddy”, and “How To Love.” Trey Songz has numerous #1 singles including “Say Ah”, “Bottoms Up” and “Heart Attack”. Kid Ink is known for “Show Me”, “Main Chick” and “Body Language”. Ty Dolla $ign’s “Paranoid” was a big radio hit, and Fetty Wap has one of the hottest singles in the country right now, “Trap Queen”.

Power 93.5 Program Director, Greg Williams, has been working diligently with record companies for more than three years to bring a hip-hop concert to INTRUST Bank Arena.

“This show is happening because Wichita is a hot bed for this music, and due to the incredible partnership with All-In Promotions, and the SMG staff at INTRUST Bank Arena,” said Williams.

“It is our first hip hop artist, we’re pretty excited about it,” said A.J. Boleski, Intrust Bank Arena General Manager. “With Greg Williams and Power 93, we’ve been doing it for several years to try and find that right act and we have. We’re excited about it. There’s a good buzz in the community. We’re excited to offer this show to Wichita.”
