PHOENIX, Arizona (KPNX) – Police in Phoenix, Arizona say a 2-year-old boy was left in a hot car Monday afternoon.
Sgt. Trent Crump, a spokesman for the Phoenix Police Department, says the family was out running errands all day.
“We’re believing he may have been with his father and 5-year-old brother and likely the child did not get out and others went inside the home,” Crump said.
Crump says the boy’s mother later found him in the car unresponsive nearly two hours after they got home. That’s when the family called 911.
