4 meth arrests made in Great Bend

GREAT BEND, Kansas – Four people were arrested Monday in Great Bend for possession of meth.

According to the Great Bend Police Department, the first arrest occurred around 2:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Morton Street. One man and one woman were taken into custody for possession of meth with the intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a school.

The second arrest for possession of meth occurred about two hours later in the 2400 block of 18th Street. Another man and woman were taken into custody.

All were booked into the Barton County Jail. Police say the investigation is continuing.
