SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KDLT) Six puppies left for dead in a trash can in Sioux Falls several weeks are ago are alive and well and at their new forever homes.
Now at 8-weeks-old, thespuppies are like any others: sweet, and at times, naughty.
It wasn’t long after, that the pups were enrolled in the Paroled Pups Program at the South Dakota State Penitentiary, where inmates provided them with around the clock care.
“We were just looking at a picture of how small they were before, and it’s just incredible how big they are and healthy,” inmate Lancy Przybylski says.
