Facebook post leads to arrest

HAMILTON, Ohio (WLWT) – Twenty-one-year-old Andrew Marcum turned himself after committing a Facebook flub that has gone viral on the internet.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Department had posted a picture of Marcum along with a list of his alleged crimes to its Facebook page, in an effort to locate the suspect.

Marcum’s next move is what has spawned countless internet comments and a great deal of criticism.

Marcum himself commented on the Sheriff Department’s post saying “I ain’t tripping half of them don’t even know me.”

Marcum’s father, Jerry, has since spoken out, vocalizing his belief that his son deserves a second chance.

“You love your son unconditional regardless, what they do,” said Jerry Marcum.
