Wichita household robbed after dark by armed men

WICHITA, Kansas – A household of six was robbed at gunpoint in a residence after two men wearing bandanas knocked on their door after dark.

Police report that two men wearing bandanas knocked at the door of a house in the 5100 block of E. Kensington around 8:45 p.m.

A person inside the house answered the door and was confronted by the two men. One of them pointed a gun towards the people in the house and demanded money.

The adults inside were held at gunpoint while one of the men went through the house looking for valuables. Three teenagers in the house were in the back room and were not threatened or harmed.

The two men ended up taking some cash, a cell phone and an Xbox. The two left the house and nobody was injured.
