Woman finds ring thanks to social media

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma (KFOR) – An Oklahoma woman has her massive beloved ring back. She lost it during a trip to a club, and she used the power of social media to find it.

“I never thought I would ever see it on my finger ever again,” said Alycea Chandler, found ring.

The ring that made the rounds on social media after it was left behind during a night at Club One15.

“I don`t know if it happened when I was washing my hands in the restroom, or taking money out of my pocket.”

It wasn’t until saturday, she realized the ring was gone,” said Chandler. “I honestly didn`t notice, my husband noticed, and I was in shock.”

Her ring was safe, in a safe.

The barhop found the rock on the ground, hiding in plain sight under this giant arrow.

“We followed procedure, took it, put it in the safe, and that was about the last thing I heard about it until today actually,” said Adam Coury, Club One15 General Manager.

He heard about it through a post that caught fire on Facebook.

“I thought it was a long shot. I knew some of my closest friends would share it for me,” said Chandler.

And share they did, as did their close friends, and their friends’ close friends.

The post reached upwards of 2,500 people, one of which, was Adam.

“I got a message from this lady, and she said ‘hey, I heard you might have a ring, do you have it?’ The fact that I can trust my staff, even the small things like that, you can’t replace that,” said Coury.

For Alycea, it is the ring that cannot be replaced.

“The diamond on it was my husband`s father, who passed away when my husband was 10. I have something to pass on to my son someday, from his grandfather that he never got to meet,” said Chandler.
