Wichita State releases more information about student death

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita State University released more information on a student death Wednesday night.

A 29-year-old man was found unresponsive in his room by a student assistant at Fairmount Towers South. Emergency personnel were called after 11 p.m. No other students were in the room.

Information gathered by the Wichita Police Department and WSU Police Department indicated that no foul play was suspected and the man died from an apparent overdose. The next of kin has been notified.
