WICHITA, Kansas – Six victims were attacked in their home by five male suspects after they had kicked in the door to a house in northeast Wichita.
The victims, ranging from ages 2 to 67, report that it happened around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday near the 1400 block of N. Lorraine.
After the five men kicked in the door, the victims saw the men were armed with clubs and baseball bats.
Two of the victims started fighting with the males.
When police arrived on the scene, four of the suspects had run away, and one was taken to the hospital with injuries.
Officers were able to locate one of the suspect nearby, and he was arrested and charged with Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Battery.
The other three suspects are at large, and police are still looking for them.
Investigators are unsure why the men broke into the house, and they are unsure if this was a gang-related attack.
