WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police say a teenage boy put rubbing alcohol into a school coffee pot.
It happened around 9 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton Middle School.
A 58-year-old teacher reports that he took a sip of coffee, and it tasted strange. He didn’t swallow the coffee and spit it out.
Police were called and they later discovered that a 14-year-old poured rubbing alcohol into the coffee pot. The teen was arrested and taken to the Sedgwick County Juvenile Intake and Assessment Center for criminal theft and aggravated battery.
