Wichita Thunder glass shatter - Joe High

WICHITA, Kansas – Several people were injured at a Wichita Thunder game when the glass guarding the hockey rink was destroyed after a player was checked into it.

According to @ThunderGameDay, 13 seconds into the third, Theo Peckham was shoved into the glass and shattered it.

One fan was taken from the arena on a stretcher with bandages on head, and a second fan was taken via wheelchair. Both are being treated for cuts to hands and faces at the EMS office at INTRUST arena.

Announcers said that there were no serious injuries, but may require some stitches.

Once the glass was replaced, both teams finished out the game.
