WICHITA, Kansas – A crime that shocked Wichita ended with a verdict Thursday.
It is the case of a wedding ring stolen from a dying woman.
Danielle Zimmerman was in the drive-thru of a Taco Bell late last year when she suffered an aneurysm and her wedding ring was taken.
A jury found Daquantrius Johnson guilty of aggravated burglary, robbery and theft.
His sentencing is set for January 29th. He could spend the next 15 years behind bars.
