WICHITA, Kansas – Television crews from the reality series “Cops” have been shooting stories of the Wichita Police Department for the last 12 weeks.
Justin Rapp and Kevin McKenna were among the number of officers to represent local police.
The “Cops” crew in Wichita was on the scene in Omaha when a shooting ended up killing one of their crew.
While one of the photographers said they understand the risk in what they do, they still feel a sense of security on the job.
“What keeps me feeling safe and my family feeling safe is working with officers like Justin here and a lot of the other people we met here in Wichita,” said Bryan Collins, “cops” photographer.
The next episode featuring Wichita will air January 17th on Spike TV.
