IHOP - File

WICHITA, Kansas – A 21-year-old male was found with several stab wounds to his body and side at a parking lot at the IHOP in west Wichita.

A server at IHOP reported that a man had been stabbed multiple times in the parking lot by a male in his late teens. Witnesses also said that the altercation may have started because of road rage, where the suspect followed the victim into the parking lot and stabbed him there.

The victim was transported to St. Francis hospital, but no update has been given on his condition.

Police have not made any arrests at this time, but are following up with the incident. Police reports describe the suspect as a Hispanic male in his late teens, 5’10” with a medium build, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and fled the scene in a grey 2008 Chevy Impala.
