Christmas lights on display

RENO, Nevada (KRNV) – Many people love the holidays, particularly, holiday decorating, and one Reno, Nevada resident has taken his love of Christmas lights to a whole other level.

If you’ve never heard of the “Lights of Tanea,” it’s one holiday tradition that Reno residents have come to embrace and look forward to annually.

Although the Thanksgiving turkey has not been carved, the 46,000 lights that make the season bright at Tanea wait for no man, that that man is Carlos Schmitt.

His light display includes lasers, strobes, and is synchronized to more than two dozen songs broadcast over a special radio station attenders can tune into.
