Weapons worth $14K stolen from Wichita gun store

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police are investigating a burglary that happened early Tuesday morning at a Wichita gun store.

It occurred in the 2900 block of West Central at Knapp Weaponry between the hours of 4:30 and 5:15 a.m.

Two unknown people entered business and took 27 firearms worth $14,000 through the front door.

“There was a wide range of handguns, a few rifles involved, all calibers,” said Lt. James Espinoza, Wichita Police Department.
