WICHITA, Kansas – The Kansas Highway Patrol says a Wichita teen was killed in a crash west of Leon on Saturday.

It happened around 4 p.m.

Authorities say a 2000 Silverado pickup was heading westbound on Highway 400 and entered the no passing zone in the eastbound lane.

The driver of the Silverado, 19-year-old Leon Williams, struck a truck driven by 56-year-old Randy Franklin of Pratt.

Franklin was taken to Wesley Medical Center for his injuries.
