WICHITA, Kansas – A Mulvane man was sentenced to prison for stealing over $50,000 from an elderly woman.
Jeremy Glenn, 35, pleaded no contest and was found guilty of felony theft and possession of methamphetamine. Glenn was sentenced to 37 months in prison.
Investigators discovered information that Glenn had gained access to a disabled 75-year-old Derby woman’s investment account through ATM checks and her ATM card.
Glenn was accused of stealing money from the woman after he had offered to help clean her home.
District Court Judge Dahl ordered Glenn to repay over $21,000 to the victim, and $32,000 to Morgan Stanley for funds taken from the victim’s investment account.
