DALLAS, Texas – Police say they arrested Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle for allegedly shoplifting Monday night at Stonebriar Centre Mall.

Randle was a running back at Southeast High School before playing at Oklahoma State.

According to NBC affiliate KXAS, Randle was stopped by Dillards loss prevention employees and detained at about 8:15 p.m. When police arrived, an investigation determined Randle had “removed items from Dillards without purchasing them,” police said.

Police say he had cologne and underwear valued between $50 and $500. He later posted bond.

Randle, a second-year player out of Oklahoma State who was drafted by the Cowboys in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft, is a backup running back for the team.
