WICHITA, Kansas – On the high school gridiron, powerhouses top ranked Bishop Carroll hosts number two Wichita Heights tonight.
The Falcons getting ready to face a team that’s outscored opponents this year by nearly an 8-to-1 ratio.
Beyond that, Heights hasn’t beaten the Golden Eagles since 2011. Falcon players say they are ready to break the streak.
“It would mean a lot, I mean I’ve been looking forward to this game since forever now, seems like forever since we’ve been actually able to play them, now it’s finally here, I’m pumped for it, I can’t wait,” said Garrison Freeman, Wichita Heights Middle Linebacker.
“That we have three of the best running backs in the state, we all got different types of running backs, obviously our style is different, we got something different to bring to the the table,” said Trenton Autry, Wichita Heights Runningback.
