JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio (WTOV) – An Ohio man is lucky to be alive after slamming his car into the end of a guard rail, then riding along as it sliced through the passenger side for more than 30 feet.
The driver was reportedly blinded by the sun.
“He is a very lucky man,” Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Greg Mamula said. “Thank goodness he didn’t have a passenger or we would have at least had severe injuries.”
The driver said he makes the trip up County Road 26 every day for work, and Wednesday morning, like many mornings, the sun is almost blinding.
