WICHITA, Kansas – Sheriffs made two arrests during a seat belt enforcement patrol during a four-hour operation, including a DUI arrest and recovery of a stolen car.
On Tuesday between 6p.m. and 10p.m., the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office was busy patrolling across Sedgwick County and made a couple surprising arrests among several regular citations.
The four-hour operation had several routine citations, including:
- 23 adult seatbelt violations
- 9 driver’s licence violations
- 4 vehicle registration violations
- 7 no insurance violations
The sheriffs also made two surprising arrests, including a DUI arrest and an arrest where the vehicle stopped was stolen.
