Pizza parlor drops “F-Bomb”

CAPE CORAL, Florida (WBBH) – A Cape Coral, Florida restaurant is cooking up some controversy over a sign on their door.

Nice Guys Beer and Pizza Lounge was using not-so-nice language to display their hours.

Rather than just telling customers they were closed, the restaurant opted for more “colorful” verbiage by dropping an F-bomb.

Although the city code prohibits the use of obscene signs, under the state and judicial definition profanity doesn’t fall into the same category. The sign could have stayed. But as a courtesy, the city asked it to be removed.
