KSN_RPM_Jul 2014

9:41PM A few nice showers and thundershowers are grazing the KSN viewing area–far Northwest corner of Kansas and far Southwest Nebraska. No indication of severe weather at this time. Unfortunately, most of our viewing area will have to wait a while for relief from the heat and much needed rain. We’ll track the showers, and the eventual changes headed our way, on KSN News at 10. If you are away from your TV, remember you can get your forecast anytime right here on KSN.com.

7:52PM Continuing to monitor just a couple little thundershowers in the Northwest part of our viewing area. There are more storms in Eastern Colorado that may be able to reach us–we’ll continue keeping an eye on those, too. Remember you can track the storms yourself anytime with the latest radar here on KSN.com.

6:39PM No warnings in effect at this time. Couple of storms in Northwest Kansas may produce small hail and gusty winds along with welcome rain.

6:08PM A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for that storm in Northwest Kansas. Nickel to quarter size hail and 50-60mph winds are possible.

5:49PM One lone little storm has popped up in the extreme heat in Northwest Kansas. We are monitoring it and will track it for you on KSN News at 6. Of course the latest radar is always at your fingertips here on KSN.com.

4:55PM Coming up on KSN News at 5, we’ll track how long the big heat will hold, and when storms will return. It looks like we may have to wait just a bit longer for a break from the true August heat! Away from your TV, check here on KSN.com anytime!
