Suspects rob man at gunpoint, steal car

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police say a 27-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint early Monday.

It happened near Douglas and Minneapolis around 3:15 a.m.

According to police, the man was driving when an unknown man walked in front of his car forcing him to stop.

That is when both men entered the car.

One of the men held up a gun and forced the victim drive to an ATM in the 2700 block of East Boulevard Plaza.

The victim was able to escape, and the suspects got away with the car.

The car is a 2004 white Oldsmobile Alero with tags A61-0601.
