11:34PM Still a little bit of activity on radar in Western Kansas near Wakeeney. Small hail and gusty winds can be expected with these lingering storms.

10:30PM We still have a cluster of thunderstorms in Northwest Kansas, but the good news is that there are no longer any Severe T-Storm Warnings. As always, you can get Storm Tracker 3 Radar anytime here.

Kansas Temperatures

8:02PM There are still a few storms in Western Kansas. No warnings at this time. Storm activity should decrease after sunset.

6:40PM We still have scattered showers and thundershowers across Western Kansas. Strong to severe storms have stayed just South and East of the viewing area. Get radar anytime here.

4:42PM It’s a hot one today – hotter than normal for this time of year by a few degrees. Wichita is at 94 degrees but feeling like 97 when you factor in the relative humidity. Medicine Lodge and Winfield feel like a toasty 102!

Kansas Feels Like Temperatures

3:45PM There are now a few storms firing up to the east of the viewing area – these storms should stay in Southeast Kansas, but there is a possibility one or two could clip a few KSN counties. Scattered showers and storms continue to affect far Western Kansas as well.

2:48PM We have a few showers and thundershowers in Southwest Kansas and the Oklahoma Panhandle. The rest of the state is dry and sunny. Get radar anytime here.

8:57AM It’s pretty muggy outside with temperatures in the upper 70s and “feels like” conditions in the 80s this morning. We have a few showers outside the viewing area in eastern Kansas, otherwise all is quiet across the state.

7:29AM A quiet start to the day with temperatures ranging in the 60s and 70s. It’s definitely a little sticky outside too! Early morning thundershowers are winding down in coverage and coming to an end.

KSN Kansas -6 Hours To Now Temperatures 2011

7:00AM Partly to mostly sunny skies and above normal temperatures are expected today. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible but most across the state will stay dry.

6:32AM Seasonably very warm August weather can be expected this weekend as well as much of next week. Rain chances will be very slim the next few days.

6:20AM Sticky start to the weekend with temperatures in the 70s. We are tracking scattered showers and storms tracking into eastern Kansas this morning.

5:33AM Scattered thundershowers are moving east and southeast around 30 mph clipping a few counties in the northeast corner of the viewing area. The storms should be neither strong nor severe but may produce brief downpours.

5:00AM A few thundershowers are moving east across central and northcentral Kansas now approaching the Kansas Turnpike, these storms should not become severe. Track it here.
