Plane makes an emergency landing in Garden City

GARDEN CITY, Kansas – A Great Lakes flight from Dodge City to Denver made an emergency landing in Garden City after the plane’s right engine failed.

It happened around 5:30p.m. on Friday.

Passengers report that they heard a loud noise when the engine went out.

The plane landed relatively smoothly and no injuries were reported.

Several passengers opted to rent vehicles to make the drive to Denver and would be reimbursed for the costs.
