Three arrested in Barton Co. for drug possession

GREAT BEND, Kansas – The Barton County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people for drug possession.

It happened Tuesday evening around 6 p.m. in the 500 block of Odell Street in Great Bend.

Deputies entered the home with a search warrant and discovered methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a large quantity of currency.

Three suspects, 51-year-old Greg Becker, 35-year-old Amy Sneath, and 31-year-old Christina Chapman, were arrested.

They face the following charges:

  • Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of drug distribution paraphernalia
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

The investigation showed the controlled substances did not have the proper Kansas tax stamps attached. The suspects were also charged with the tax stamp violation.

All three suspects were transported to the Barton County Jail without incident.
