Man walks away from damaged plane after in-air accident

DODGE CITY, Kansas – A 61-year-old Dodge City man was forced to make an emergency landing after a wing of his plane clipped an obstacle.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that the wing of the crop duster hit a guide wire, damaging the left wing on Wednesday around 1:30p.m.

The plane was able to make it to the Dodge City airport, where it crashed upon landing.
