7:00AM Last night was the peak of the Perseid Meteor shower, but there should still be some decent viewing tonight. The weather will be perfect for star gazing, clear skies and mild temperatures are in the forecast. If you want to try to catch a falling star watch the NE sky tonight after 11. You’ll need a sharp eye though as the bright moon will make it a little more challenging to see the meteors which are moving through our atmosphere at about 37 miles per second!!
