VINEYARD HAVEN, Massachusetts (AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton says she’s looking forward to hugging out her differences with President Barack Obama.
Obama’s former secretary of state told reporters Wednesday that she’s proud to have served with him despite some differences of opinion.
Clinton was speaking at a book signing in her first public remarks since drawing distinctions from Obama on foreign policy in an interview published earlier this week.
Obama’s spokesman says the White House “is looking onwards and upwards” after the split. The two are planning to attend a party Wednesday night while they are both on Martha’s Vineyard.
