Police investigating quadruple shooting in NE Wichita

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police are investigating a quadruple shooting at a northeast Wichita apartment complex.

It happened at Calvary Tower Apartments in the 2600 block of North Grove around 4 a.m.

Wichita police say four men, ages 41, 29, 28, and 25, are in the hospital.

The 25-year-old man has life-threatening injuries. He suffered a gunshot wound to the upper chest.

The other men suffered wounds to their legs, arms and stomach areas.

Three men were taken by private vehicle to the hospital.

Police say they are still gathering evidence at the scene and talking to witnesses.

“I think we got some of our main players identified,” said Captain Troy Livingston. “However, when you have a scene like this that’s so violent and everybody’s injured, information comes slowly. Could we develop more people? Maybe, its just too early to tell.”

Officers say two other shootings in Wichita kept them busy throughout the night.
