HUTCHINSON, Kansas – A fire heavily damaged a Hutchinson home early Wednesday.

It broke out just after 2 a.m. in the 200 block of West Avenue E.

When fire crews arrived, they found heavy fire coming from the front of the home.

The fire was controlled in 30 minutes, but crews were on scene for three hours.

The house is valued at $10,500 and considered a complete loss.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
