Osborne football coach injured in crash

TIPTON, Kansas (AP) – A state championship football coach has been hospitalized after a motorcycle accident in north-central Kansas.

Osborne County Sheriff’s Deputy Danny Miner told WIBW that Osborne football coach Steve Tiernan was injured early Sunday in a motorcycle accident west of Tipton. He was hospitalized in Wichita.

Tiernan won two state championships in 8-Man football with Baileyville B&B in 2008 and 2010 and last year’s 8-Man Division One championship with Osborne.
