10:12PM An isolated storm or two will be possible overnight mainly in eastern Kansas, along a line from Salina to Chanute… Otherwise a calm and mild night can be expected. Have a great week!

9:35PM The past few days have brought mostly dry conditions and warmer temperatures to the forecast area, with the exception of a few rain showers for some lucky folks. However, the pattern will change yet again by mid week. As unsettled weather returns to the outlook area, chances for precipitation increase by mid week with the best chances coming Wednesday and Thursday. 8:47PM Daytime high temperatures will continue to climb into the low to mid 90s across the area through the middle of the week. Chances for showers and storms will increase by Wednesday and Thursday.

8:04PM What a perfect evening! Mainly clear and dry skies right now with temperatures in the 80s. Not muggy at all as an added bonus!

6:02PM A weak boundary will continue to move southward into northeast Kansas which may set off an a few isolated showers or storms this evening and overnight. Current thinking right now is that all of the precipitation will stay in eastern Kansas as temperatures drift away into the 60s.

3:48PM We’re looking at loads of sunshine on this Sunday afternoon with toasty temperatures in the lower 90s!

KSN Kansas -6 Hours To Now Temperatures 2011

2:20PM Isolated showers and thunderstorms may redevelop later this afternoon and continue into the evening hours. The stronger storms may produce gusty winds, small hail and brief heavy rainfall.

10:00AM Scattered showers are tracking southeast in our far northeastern most counties in the viewing area. Everywhere else is dry and mild this morning!

9:32AM Partly to mostly sunny conditions will occur today with seasonal temperatures in the low to mid 90s. An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible in far east central Kansas, but most locations will remain dry.

9:02AM Showers continue to develop in in portions of northcentral Kansas this morning. You can track it here on our radar.

7:49AM A stray shower or storm will be possible this afternoon and early evening in central Kansas. Primarily locations along and northeast of a line from Salina to El Dorado to Chanute. These storms are not expected to be strong or severe.

7:02AM Isolated showers will persist for a few hours this morning near Hays. Otherwise look for a few showers and thunderstorms along and north of I-70 later this afternoon. High temperatures will top out in the lower 90s

6:33AM A slight warm-up is expected for the start of the work week with highs ranging from 90 to 95 degrees. These readings are still close to seasonal averages.

5:37AM Slight boost in afternoon temperatures to wrap up the first weekend of August. We’re not talking about the 100s which is always great to hear!
