WICHITA, Kansas – The Sedgwick County Corrections confirms that 29-year-old Seth Jackson was no longer on the inmate list and was released on bond Saturday at 5:01p.m.

Bail was set for $200,000 on Friday, with a $50,000 surety bond.

Seth Jackson is being charged with felony murder in the first-degree for leaving his 10-month-old foster child inside a hot car on July 25.

District Attorney Marc Bennett stated that Jackson was high on marijuana the day that the 10-month-old died, and had supposedly went to a drug dealer to acquire more drugs.

According to Bennett, Jackson returned home, took his 5-year-old adopted child inside, and proceeded to use the drugs.

The 10-month-old child was left in the car for over two hours before his 26-year-old partner noticed that the 10-month-old was not around.
