Kansas Temperatures

10:14PM A few small light rain showers in Northwest Kansas continue to move southward and appear to be fizzling out. Except for these few showers, we are expecting dry conditions tonight with partly cloudy skies.

8:28PM There are a few small showers in far Northcentral Kansas – barely clipping Smith County, and a small shower in Hitchcock County in Southwest Nebraska. Get radar anytime here.

4:04PM Tonight should be another quiet night with temperatures dipping down to the 50s and 60s. A stray shower cannot be completely ruled out in Northcentral Kansas. Otherwise, tonight should be dry with partly cloudy skies.

2:41PM Keeping a close eye on radar over to eastern Colorado. A few showers are trying to enter southwest Kansas but so far haven’t had any luck. Otherwise, it’s nice and warm outside with temperatures in the 80s.

11:10AM Partly to mostly cloudy skies will continue across the area today with seasonably cool highs in the 80s. Temperatures may struggle to climb out of the 70s, especially in Oklahoma where more clouds will be present. What an interesting/refreshing way to close out the month of July, right!?!

We will be heading into August with highs in the 80’s weather story   7:10AM The sun is out across most of the area but some patchy fog is still being reported. At this hour, Wichita’s airport is still reporting light fog and 4 mile visibility. metrocam 7:00AM We are headed back to the 80’s today after a record setting cool afternoon on Wednesday… Yesterday, Wichita’s high was only 72 which broke the old record for the coolest high (73 set in 1903). KSN Kansas -6 Hours To Now Temperatures 2011 5:30AM So far there are not a lot of reports of dense fog across SC Kansas… At this hour Wichita’s Airport is reporting 4 miles visibility with light fog and mist, Hutch is also reporting some areas of fog. The good news is that it won’t last long and sunny warm conditions will return quickly.
