Born on the run

PHOENIX, Arizona (KPNX) – An Arizona woman was forced to give birth in her minivan after her newborn just couldn’t wait for the short drive to the hospital.

Ariana Critzer says she can laugh about it now, but it was a whole different story when she was about to give birth to her third child, Roxy.

“We started booking it to the hospital and a little more than half way there I screamed at him to pull over, it was going to happen now,” Critzer says.

A Mesa parking lot became the hospital, their Dodge Caravan the delivery room, and dad, the doctor.

Critzer was then taken to the hospital.

Both the 25-year-old mother and the baby girl are doing well.
