CHICKASHA, Oklahoma (AP) – Oklahoma law enforcement authorities have arrested a Grady County man on complaints of possession of child pornography.
The Attorney General’s Office said Wednesday that the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested a 59-year-old man Chickasha man on two counts of possession of child pornography, one count of aggravated possession of child pornography and one count of violating the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
The task force received a tip the man’s online storage account contained images of child pornography. Investigators say a warrant was granted for a search of the account, which uncovered more than 3,000 images of child pornography. In addition, a laptop computer and other equipment in Thompson’s possession contained images of child pornography.
It was not immediately clear if the suspect is represented by an attorney.
