10:50PM Tonight will continue to be soggy in Western Kansas. Showers will eventually make it to Central Kansas as well. Get radar any time here.  The forecast for tonight is below…other than rain, temperatures will drop into the 60’s tonight. Clouds and rain tomorrow will also keep temperatures rather cool for late July.


10:10PM We continue to track light to moderate rain showers in Western Kansas…just some great rain and no severe weather at this point. While a stronger storm or two cannot be completely ruled out, locally heavy rainfall will be the primary concern, especially in far Southwest and Southcentral Kansas.

6:30PM Lots of clouds over Downtown Wichita at this hour. Clouds will continue to increase tonight. Also, a few rain showers affecting parts of Southwest Kansas. Get radar anytime here.

5:52PM Most of the viewing area is still dry at this hour but we do have a few showers moving into far Western Kansas. Rain chances increase for tonight and tomorrow. Join us on KSN in a few minutes for the details.

4:08PM Temperatures range from 72-90 degrees across Kansas. We have the 70s in far Southwest Kansas and Eastern Kansas where we have clouds and showers…and upper 80s/90s across much of Central Kansas where we’ve had more sun and dry conditions.

1:58PM A look at Storm Tracker 3 Radar still shows showers in Southwest Kansas and the Oklahoma Panhandle…and a few showers still fizzling out in our far eastern counties. The heavier rain will occur tonight.

11:30AM We are tracking a few showers in SW Kansas and a few more in the NE corner of the KSN viewing area. While you may hear some thunder we are not expecting any severe weather today. Check your local radar by clicking here.

4:20AM It’s a beautiful, very Un-July like start to the day. Highs this afternoon should be in the 70’s and 80’s across Kansas!! Our average high temps in late July should be in the low 90’s so enjoy it while it lasts.
